A 28-page emergency preparedness guide I wrote and designed for Come What Mayday's Emergency Essentials series, teaching readers how to build a personal water preparedness plan. This is the precursor to a forthcoming companion video course series.

I wrote the full narrative content, from an opening hook grounding the topic in real infrastructure issues. Throughout, I translated technical content into approachable, encouraging language aimed at a general audience with no prior preparedness experience.

I also designed the full visual system: a branded three-part structure (stocking, sourcing, treating), custom iconography and recommended/caution visual cues, an interactive table-of-contents-style roadmap page with clickable navigation, and a cohesive color and photography style that keeps a serious topic feeling calm and doable rather than alarming.

Target Audience: General consumers with little to no emergency preparedness experience. People who want to build resilience but don't know where to start and don’t want to make emergency prep their whole personality :)
